My First Encounter with Weaving I first discovered the magic of weaving over a decade ago, during a field trip in 2012. I was visiting a small village where local women artisans welcomed me warmly and generously taught me how to weave. They even gave me a set of hand-crafted tools for making waist-woven bands—carefully made by the village’s woodworkers. Back then, I wasn’t thinking about creativity or designing something new. I simply loved how the repetitive motions of weavi
